New Municipal Drains or extensions of existing Drains are often required for rural development such as severances and site plans to have a legal outlet. CJDL follows through the systematic format set out in The Drainage Act to ensure a successful project. CJDL has designed and managed several recent projects to replace culvert crossings with large precast box culverts and open bottom culverts. We engage the services of environmental sub-consultants as necessary to obtain permits and approvals from the local Conservation Authority, Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry, and Department of Fisheries & Oceans.
